I’m a public relations specialist and former journalists who is passionate about educating the public on pet adoption and animal rescue. I have volunteered at Heartland Animal Shelter – a suburban Chicago no-kill shelter – where I wrote educational stories about pet adoption, pets featured for adoption and a variety of fund raising events for the shelter. I also write articles about pet health and the many pet-focused businesses in the Chicago-area.
I live with my husband Tom and our rescued cats Max and Ellie on the North Shore. My work may be found on Examiner.com, TribLocal, The Patch and other Chicago publications.
